HBIS Key State R&D Project Making Vital Breakthrough in Industrial Applications

With Orange Liquid NO2 streaming into the glass bottles, HBIS Absorption of Multiple pollutants in Smoke and Dusts and their Applications Project makes a vital breakthrough in industrial applications. After absorption and Condensationnitrogenxides in Sintering gases could generate purified liquid NO2 gases. With the help of this technology, waste gases are becoming profitable products. 

Flue gas pollutants and adsorption removal and recycling technology and demonstration is major national research and development project of the 13th Five-Year Plan sponsored by HBIS , to deal with the complicated question of sintering flue gas composition of variety of pollutants, separation and purification by stripping absorption condensation of coupling technology, the realization of flue gas pollutants more set and adsorption removal and recycling,  Moreover, a 50,000 m3/h multi-tower adsorption/catalysis - desorption cycle - step condensation demonstration project was built and put into operation in Handan Handbao Ironmaking Plant of HBIS. Third-party testing showed that the emission concentrations of SO2, SO2 and dioxin in terminal flue gas were all superior to the national ultra-low emission standards.  

This is a breakthrough in SO2, NO2 recovery and concentrations. The new plant could recover 248tons of SO2 and make profits, comparing existing technologies, the new one reduces the generations of solid wastes by 80% and reduct the operation cost by 40%.
